Chips and salsa. That’s what she’s been craving today.
It’s been a weird day. I woke up late again, because I stayed up all night working on the copy writing for a new landing page that I’m excited about.
Every day the pregnancy get’s more real. We just got our insurance all worked out — so that’s good.
I’m starting to like the idea of starting a content marketing service more and more. I’m going to start testing the idea soon. My gut feeling tells me to go all in.
It’s distracting me a little bit from my summit. I’ve been ahead of my schedule, so I haven’t fallen behind yet. But I just need to make sure that I’m still executing. I need to spend more time in the trenches and not get lost in the clouds.
I’ve already recorded my first interview. And I have 4 or 5 others scheduled. 5 out of 6 of my first pitches said yes.
5 out of 5 of the next batch didn’t even respond. Which is kind of a bummer.
But I just need to keep moving forward. I’ve been procrastinating — hoping that I’d still get at least 1 yes from that last batch. But I really need to keep working.
I need to start pitching more speakers ASAP.
Tonight, Chelsea and I are going to celebrate a friend’s wedding. Should be fun 🙂
