You don’t always have to be perfect. It’s ok. Nobody is. You don’t have to have everything figured out.
Life is a journey. You learn along the way. Don’t expect to overcome every obstacle on the first try.
Some things take time.
I’ve been fighting Crohn’s disease for about a decade.
It’s a challenge that I’ve had to learn to live with, and I’m learning more every day.
Some days I just want to quit.
Sometimes I try to ignore my problems, and pretended that things are actually better than they are.
While I believe that having a positive attitude is extremely powerful, I also believe it’s important to be realistic.
You don’t want to lose sight of reality and fail to overcome challenges because you couldn’t confront them.
That’s why two years ago I decided to take control of my own health. It’s up to me now. It’s my responsibility.
And it’s why I recently decided to step back from work and blogging a little bit to focus more on my health.
It’s important to know what your priorities are. It’s ok if you need to switch gears or take a break.
Goals and dreams take time to accomplish.
